Coach Mike D'Antoni said on a New York radio station Wednesday that Pau Gasol (foot) will be out for "a while."
The Lakers were awaiting results of an MRI on Gasol's right foot, but the fear is Gasol tore his plantar fascia. The Spaniard said he felt a pop in the foot during Tuesday's win over the Nets and it could be at least a month before we see Gasol back in action. We'll update you as soon as we get results of the MRI. Earl Clark and Metta World Peace should see their values rise a fair amount while Gasol is sidelined. Antawn Jamison could also see some extended run.
