Dwight Howard says there are times when he plays that he can't feel his legs following offseason back surgery.
Howard, who is also dealing with a shoulder injury, admitted during the interview Wednesday that his legs were going numb just from sitting in a chair. "When I got injured my nerves in my legs were short-circuited so basically because of my disk being on my nerves, basically shut everything down from my back all the way down to my toes," Howard said. The Lakers big man admitted his back is not 100 percent, something that's been obvious even before his shoulder was injured. It'll likely be next season before we see anything close to the dominant player we're used to watching, although where he'll be playing is anyone's guess.
