Michael Beasley admitted he made mistakes during a recent incident in Scottsdale, Arizona, but said the media blew it out of proportion.
Beasley was cited for criminal speeding and driving with a suspended license on Jan. 25. He also had a loaded gun in the car at the time of the incident but wasn't charged since the firearm was properly registered. "I was abiding by Arizona state rules except for my citations," Beasley said Wednesday. While he's unlikely to be punished by the league, Beasley's half apology certainly won't help his image.
