Pau Gasol said that he felt a "pop" in his right foot and he left the Barclay's Center on crutches after Tuesday's game.
The popping sound could mean Gasol may have torn his plantar fascia and it's becoming more and more likely that he's going to have to miss multiple games. He said that his plantar fasciitis got worse in Friday's game against Minnesota, so he's been trying to play through it and it may have caught up to him. As a reference point, Richard Hamilton suffered a partially torn plantar fascia back in December and he missed almost one month. Every injury is different, though, and Gasol's MRI on Wednesday will shed some light on a possible prognosis. Earl Clark is a must-own player while Antawn Jamison is worth a look in all leagues.
