Antawn Jamison goes for 9 & 8 in start

Antawn Jamison had nine points, eight rebounds, a block and a 3-pointer on 4-of-8 shooting in 37 minutes on Tuesday.
Metta World Peace was out due to a one-game suspension, which allowed Jamison to start, Dwight Howard was out with his bum shoulder and Pau Gasol suffered a possibly serious foot injury tonight. In other words, even when MWP returns, Jamison is worth a short-term add in many leagues, and should put up better numbers than this on most nights if Howard and Gasol remain sidelined.
