Chris Paul could return by weekend

ESPN Los Angeles speculates that Chris Paul (knee) could return by Friday or Sunday.
The Clippers have been tight-lipped on Paul's status, so this is just a reading of the tea leaves. Paul, who continues to be listed as day-to-day, worked out with the team on both Saturday and Monday. The Clips will surely exercise extreme caution with their franchise player, but they're losing ground quickly in the race for the West's top seed. They're 2-6 over the last eight games -- all played without CP3.
