Alec Burks played well off the bench with 14 points, three rebounds, four assists, two steals, one block and two 3-pointers on 5-of-7 shooting in 31 minutes against Sacramento on Monday.
He outplayed Jamaal Tinsley (no points in 22 minutes) and this could be the start of something for Burks. He came out of the University of Colorado as a slashing shooting guard, but coach Tyrone Corbin said he'll be putting more pressure on Burks to take over point guard duties. His defense has been a lot better and he could be worth an add for owners in 14-team leagues that need a guard.
