Rudy Gay scored 29 points in his second game with the Raptors, adding four rebounds, three assists and one block in 42 minutes as the starting SF.
Landry Fields was out with back spasms but that wouldn't have mattered anyway, as Gay is locked into a huge role with Toronto and should benefit from the Raptors' desire to play with greater pace (the Grizzlies were 23rd in the NBA in offensive efficiency and 27th in pace).
