Monta Ellis praised by Boylan for his defense

Monta Ellis scored 21 points and tied his season-high with 11 assists on Saturday, but all Jim Boylan could talk about was his defensive effort vs. J.J. Redick.
"The defense that Monta Ellis played tonight on J.J. Redick was as good as you'll see all year," said Boylan. "For the entire time he was out there, Monta was totally focused defensively. When he's playing like that, focused, he can guard just about anybody." Monta is allowing 105 points per 100 possessions this season, according to basketball-reference.com, which would be the best mark of his eight-year career.
