J.R Smith scored 25 points with seven 3-pointers in just 22 minutes on Saturday, while adding six rebounds, four assists, two steals and zero turnovers.
Smith was on fire, Steve Novak hit 5-of-7 from downtown and even Kurt Thomas sank a 3-pointer tonight, but they don't deserve all the credit -- the Kings assisted most of the Knicks' field goals by steadfastly refusing to close out on shooters, even in the face of a perimeter onslaught (the Knicks finished with 19 triples). J.R. finished with a +/- rating of +36 in the record-setting blowout.
