Eric Gordon revealed that he played through a sore back on Friday, but he's still expected to play on Saturday against the Timberwolves.
Gordon also revealed his back has been sore since Tuesday's game vs. the Lakers. This is significant for a couple of reasons. The first is that if Gordon plays on Saturday, it would mark the first since Gordon's return that he's played in back-to-back games, a huge step in his progress from his knee injury. The second reason is that Gordon has battled back soreness previously, and it's concerning that he can't seem to shake the back issue. Gordon had just nine points on 3-of-8 shooting on Friday in 25 minutes (including five turnovers), so it will be interesting to see how he responds on Saturday.
