Report: Raptors have interest in Pau Gasol

The Raptors remain interested in trading for Pau Gasol, according to ESPN's Marc Stein.
That's a nice thought, but that doesn't mean a deal is likely to occur. Any potential deal for Gasol would be built around Andrea Bargnani, who is not only in the midst of arguably his worst season ever, but also has two years and more than $20 million left on his deal beyond this season. Let's just say that we think a deal between the two clubs is extremely unlikely, especially now that the Raps no longer have Jose Calderon's expiring contract as an asset.
