Adrian Peterson's salary is $10.2 million

Incentives and escalators have pushed Adrian Peterson's 2011 base salary to $10.2 million.
The massive salary may spur the Vikings to get serious about signing Peterson to a long-term extension. Still just 26 (he turns in March), "All Day" upped his yards-per-carry average from to 4.41 in 2009 to 4.59, and is showing no signs of wearing down. He also received 283 carries -- Peterson's fewest since his rookie year -- boding well for his 2011 production.
