Gasol hits 22 & 12; Kobe nears 3 x 2 in win

Pau Gasol scored 22 points on 8-of-15 shooting (1-of-1 from deep, 5-of-5 from the line) with 12 rebounds, two assists, and three blocks in the Lakers' win over the Wolves on Friday.
The Lakers are winning with Gasol playing a traditional center role and it will be interesting to see what happens if or when Dwight Howard returns. Until then, Gasol has the look of past versions, albeit with much more mileage on the odometer. Kobe Bryant nearly triple-doubled, scoring 17 points with 12 boards and eight assists in the win.
