The teams that red-flagged Sullinger on draft day due to his back issues turned out to be right after all. His rookie season is over after playing just 19.8 minutes a night in a mere 45 games, averaging 6.0 points, 5.9 rebounds and 0.5 blocks. At this point, it's not unreasonable to think this troublesome injury is going to plague Sullinger for his entire career -- even though the Celtics say he'll be ready for 2013-14 training camp. Coach Doc Rivers will now have no choice but to give Jeff Green/Brandon Bass heavy minutes now and the Celtics are rapidly becoming prime candidates to blow up their core at the Feb. 21 deadline.
