Dwight Howard will miss Friday's game with his shoulder injury.
It doesn't really come as a surprise with how much pain Howard was in on Wednesday, and the Lakers would be wise to err on the side of caution given the long-term picture. Los Angeles has won 19 straight games against the Timberwolves and will look to make it 20 in a row with Pau Gasol drawing the start at center in place of Howard.
