Beasley primed to do more for Suns now
Feb. 1, 2013 - 8:50 AM ET

When asked about his new role for the Suns, Michael Beasley said, "I definitely think I will benefit from the coaching change."

It's pretty clear that Alvin Gentry grew tired of Beasley quickly in Phoenix, but Lindsey Hunter is giving Beas a second chance to be a contributor. Beasley has scored in double digits in three straight games, including two games of 25-plus points. Asked about Hunter, Beasley said, "We definitely have a good relationship. If not anybody else, he definitely understands my work ethic." Beasley deserves to be owned in all formats with his new role and upside for a Suns team that needs him to step up.
