Byron Scott said that rookie Dion Waiters is "more comfortable" and "has better rhythm" coming off the bench.
As a starter, Waiters is averaging just 13.7 points, 3.5 assists, 1.2 steals and 1.4 3-pointers on a lousy 36.5 percent shooting. Off the bench, Waiters is averaging 17.1 points and shooting 43.8 percent from the floor. Scott previously said that Waiters will remain in the starting lineup for now, but judging by his comments, it sounds like Waiters could be headed back to a sixth man role before too much longer.
