Bradley Beal (wrist) hints he'll have to rest
Bradley Beal - G - Washington Wizards
Jan. 30, 2013 - 9:20 AM ET

Bradley Beal (wrist) did not sound optimistic about playing in Wednesday's game against the Sixers.

In the six games since Beal originally sustained the injury, he's shooting a woeful 35.7 percent and averaging just 8.8 points per game. "I feel if I can't make shots for my team then there is no purpose for me being on the floor," he said. "I have to take time off. It's hard to do that, but I have to live with it." Even though Wizards coach Randy Wittman didn't sound so pessimistic, we'd be surprised if Beal played Wednesday. Trevor Ariza may start, but we'd prefer the more explosive Jordan Crawford as the add.
