Smart explains benching of DeMarcus Cousins

Keith Smart explained his fourth quarter benching of DeMarcus Cousins on Monday by saying "Thomas provided us with what we needed."
Thomas is rookie Thomas Robinson, who finished with nine points, three rebounds, a steal and two blocks in 28.5 minutes. Cousins was not happy about being benched down the stretch, and with each passing game, Smart continues to confound his players with his whimsical rotations and inconsistent substitution patterns.
