DeMarcus Cousins scored 12 points on 5-of-8 shooting with four rebounds, two steals and one block in Monday's game, but was benched for the fourth quarter by coach Keith Smart.
We're nowhere near putting this one on Cousins, who has seen his playing time fluctuate this past week with no discernible reason in sight. Yes, Cousins has problems with effort on the floor and decision-making, but he's far from the most offensive culprit and there is no consistency in Keith Smart's approach whatsoever. When asked whether it was the other team taking him out of his game he said no, and when asked if it was him he said no again. That leaves one guy. Shocker.
