Rajon Rondo to have surgery in 10-14 days

Rajon Rondo will have ACL surgery in 10-14 days, sources told Sports Illustrated.
The doctors want the swelling in Rondo's knee to go down before the operation, a standard move for operations of this nature. It's too early to speculate on Rondo's timetable to return, but he'll face a serious challenge to be ready for opening night of the 2013-14 season.
