Deron Williams expected to play Saturday

P.J. Carlesimo said he expects Deron Williams (quad contusion) to be able to play against the Rockets on Saturday.
P.J. added that Deron could have returned to the game, but Memphis destroyed the Nets 85-87 on Friday and there was no need. Williams finished with 12 points, five boards, six assists, two blocks and one 3-pointer in 29 minutes. He should be considered questionable for Saturday's road back-to-back set with Houston.
