Knicks keeping Amare Stoudemire in bench role
Amare Stoudemire - F/C - New York Knicks
Jan. 25, 2013 - 2:35 PM ET

Mike Woodson sounds content to leave Amare Stoudemire in a bench role for the foreseeable future.

Stoudemire had one of his best games of the season against the Celtics Thursday night, recording 15 points, nine rebounds and two blocks. He seems to be settling in to a bench role nicely and at this point in his career, it fits. But for fantasy owners, playing time is going to be an issue. Stoudemire doesn't figure to see much more than the 20-24 minutes nightly. Woodson plans to start Raymond Felton, Iman Shumpert, James White, Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler against the Sixers Saturday.
