Byron Mullens, who is hoping to return on the upcoming road trip, is doing agility drills and some sprints.
"(Based on) today, I felt like I could play on Saturday, but I know I can't," he said. "Just running around at 10 percent is not like game speed and I'm definitely not in game shape," he added. Mullens has been cleared for any activity that doesn't cause him pain, and while the swelling is gone and pain is minimal, he has scar tissue in the ankle that he has to break up. "I probably tore everything you could tear without breaking (the ankle)," Mullens said. This was obviously not an ordinary sprain.
