Dwight Howard "isn't available" in a trade, "nor will that change before the February deadline," according to Yahoo! Sports.
We're hardly surprised. We've said repeatedly that while the Howard rumors will continue to swirl, the Lakers are going all in on Howard after acquiring him in the offseason. Even if the downward slide continues, the Lakers can offer Howard the LA market he's always wanted, a massive five-year, $100 million contract and the opportunity to be the franchise face of the team in the future. We don't expect Howard to go anywhere.
