Eric Gordon starts hot, cools in second half

Eric Gordon scored 17 points with three 3-pointers on Wednesday, but had five turnovers with zero assists as the Hornets fell to the Spurs 102-106.
The Hornets are now 1-17 when allowing 100+ points, a predictable stat which speaks to the team's youth and lack of offensive firepower, though Gordon's return has helped with the latter. He made 5-of-8 FGs and 4-of-4 FTs tonight and looked spry to start the game, but a lack of conditioning seemed to catch up with him as he attempted just two shots in the second half, missing both.
