Rose has to practice w/ contact for a while

Tom Thibodeau said that Derrick Rose would have to practice with full contact "for an extended amount of time" before he's cleared to play.
Thibodeau is making it clear that Rose's return to full-contact practice will not expedite his timetable. "That's not going to be OK, one or two days of contact and he's going out there, that's just not going to happen," he said. The Bulls have rightfully treated Rose with kid gloves, and it appears he is on track to return to action shortly after the All-Star break.
