Jimmy Butler played 43 minutes against the Lakers on Monday and had 10 points, eight boards, four assists and one steal.
His greatest contribution didn't come in the box score, playing hard-nosed defense on Kobe Bryant. Some of his teammates were calling the "Kobe Stopper" after the game and he's done a great job stepping in for the injured Luol Deng (hamstring). Deng could miss Wednesday's game vs. Detroit, so Ruben Patterson 2.0 might be in line for another spot-start.
