Suns unsure who to promote as interim coach

The Suns are still considering who to promote as the interim head coach now that Alvin Gentry has left the team -- candidates include assistant coaches Elston Turner, Igor Kokoskov and Dan Majerle and Lindsey Hunter.
Turner has been serving as lead assistant and is therefore the most obvious choice, but a few Suns players reportedly asked that the job be given to Marjerle, who would also be popular with the region's longtime fans. The Suns don't play again until Wednesday, which is brutal for fantasy owners but great for a franchise in flux.
