Vince Carter scored a season-high 29 points on 10-of-17 shooting (4-of-8 3PTs, 5-of-7 FTs) with three rebounds, two assists, two steals, and one block in 32 minutes off the bench on Friday against the Thunder.
Carter had been ice-cold coming into tonight's game and the return of Dirk Nowitzki had cut into his value. Tonight, the Mavs turned to him early and often and owners will want to give him a look for the chance he can keep things up, even if just at a low-end level. Still, Carter profiles as a player that will run hot and cold and have a hard time providing reliable value in standard formats. He appeared to hurt his left shoulder at one point during the game, but didn't leave the contest.
