Ricky Rubio said at practice Tuesday that he plans to talk to the coaches today about increasing his playing time.
This comes only a day after Rubio admitted there's still a little pain his surgically repaired left knee and it's hard to see how more minutes and pushing him harder will help that. His teammates have admitted he doesn't look like himself and Rubio says he doesn't have his legs, so we're not sure how giving him more time in games is going to that. Despite Adrian Peterson's miraculous rehab, it usually takes players at least a year and a half to come back from ACL injuries, so we'd be hard pressed to expect the old Rubio before next season.
