LaMarcus Aldridge (ankle) exploded for 33 points and 11 rebounds vs. the Thunder, knocking down 15-of-26 FGs in his highest-scoring game of the season.
L.A. added two blocks in the home loss, which was more disappointing since the Thunder were playing without Serge Ibaka and Thabo Sefolosha. Some staunch defense kept Portland within striking distance late in the fourth quarter, but Nicolas Batum (21 points) missed a layup and Aldridge air-balled a fadeaway jumper to seal the defeat. His 'tweaked' ankle obviously isn't, and wasn't, a serious concern.
