Damian Lillard scored a career-high 37 points on 15-of-25 shooting (including seven threes) with six rebounds, four assists, and two steals in the Blazers' loss to the Warriors in Oakland on Friday.
Lillard grew up in Oakland and had a big family contingent on hand to see him make 12 straight shots down the stretch and almost single-handedly bring his Blazers back into the game. He's a lock for ROY, but you already knew that. Wes Matthews scored 10 points on 3-of-15 shooting with nine boards, J.J. Hickson went for seven and 12 with a block, Nic Batum scored 16 points with nine boards and three treys, and LaMarcus Aldridge had seven points on 3-of-14 shooting with six rebounds, five assists, two steals, and two blocks as most of the Blazers not named Lillard struggled tonight.
