Amare Stoudemire says he'll play on Friday

Amare Stoudemire (knee) said he'll play in the second game of a back-to-back on Friday.
Mike Woodson and the training staff will probably evaluate Stoudemire at shootaround to make sure he's ready to go. STAT played 22 minutes on Thursday, scoring nine points and grabbing eight rebounds, and he'll likely play between 20-25 minutes again on Friday. He also added that his reported soreness was misconstrued, as his knee is feeling okay and it was more general soreness from returning to action. Regardless, he's expected to be on the floor Friday.
