P.J. Tucker plays 40 minutes, scores nine
P.J. Tucker - G/F - Phoenix Suns
Jan. 9, 2013 - 11:00 PM ET

P.J. Tucker matched his season high with 40 minutes in Wednesday's loss to the Celtics, scoring nine points with four rebounds, two assists, one steal and one 3-pointer.

After averaging just 17.8 minutes in December, Tucker's playing time in his last six games jumped to 27.2 minutes. His upside still isn't that high since he's not going to produce much outside of steals, so it'll be tough to put him on a standard roster even though he's on the upswing. It's also worth noting his free throw percentage is just 62.2 percent on the season. Shannon Brown (four points in 13 minutes) has shockingly missed 21 of his last 22 attempts from downtown and it's time to cut bait in most formats.
