Lou Williams was benched in favor of Zaza Pachulia on Wednesday, and had just five points in 21 minutes on 2-of-8 shooting as the Hawks lost their fourth straight game.
Williams was on fire coming into this one and it was surprising to see him get benched, as well as disappear from the offense. Larry Drew has been livid with his team over the past few days, and maybe it was Williams he was mad at, although that doesn't add up given how well Williams was playing, and how bad Jeff Teague looked prior to this one. Chalk this up as an off night and hope that he bounces back, as Pachulia doesn't appear likely to move into a starting role on a full-time basis.
