Report: Maloofs reject Seattle's Kings offer

The Maloof brothers rejected an offer from the Hansen-Balmer led Seattle group to buy the Kings, a source told Steven Large of CBS 13 in Sacramento.
It's unclear how this report meshes with one from earlier Wednesday indicating the Maloofs and the Seattle group were "finalizing an agreement." In all likelihood, it's the Maloofs trying to squeeze as much money as possible out of the deal, which is in pretty much status quo for them. We wouldn't overreact to any news until something more official is released. More as we know it, but Rotoworld's own Aaron Bruski remains the man to follow as this situation unfolds.
