Iman Shumpert could be cleared for contact practice "as soon as Tuesday," according to Newsday.
Shumpert was undergoing further tests on his knee before being cleared for 5-on-5 contact, so he will be cleared assuming everything checks out. Mike Woodson said that Shumpert is "getting close," and we still expect a debut in late January.
