Eric Gordon (knee) will sit out Wednesday as part of a plan to rest him in the second half of back-to-backs.
Monty Williams has made it clear the Hornets are taking it slow with Gordon, who has openly campaigned for more minutes. After going off for 24 points Saturday, Gordon scored 11 on 5-of-17 shooting against the Hawks on Tuesday. Still, he remains worth owning in all leagues and is a viable start in most. Austin Rivers will likely start Wednesday, with Roger Mason Jr. and Brian Roberts possibly seeing more time.
