Tyreke Evans won't need surgery on knee

The Kings announced Wednesday that Tyreke Evans (knee) will rejoin the team after a second opinion from Dr. Steve Lombardo confirmed he won't need surgery.
Lombardo supported the Kings' prescription for rehab and treatment and Evans is hopeful of playing at some point during the Kings' upcoming five-game homestand. While it's certainly good news Evans won't need surgery, there's still no definitive return date. Owners will have to continue to play the waiting game and hope Evans won't be in and out of the lineup for the rest of the season.
