Favors' improved foul stroke earning him mins
Jan. 2, 2013 - 8:25 AM ET

Tyrone Corbin is comfortable playing Derrick Favors more minutes due to his improved foul shooting.

Favors has gone from 59.5 percent last season to 71.3 percent this year. "All those things help you get minutes on the floor," Corbin said. For the season, Favors is averaging 9.4 points, 6.4 rebounds, 0.9 steals and 1.6 blocks in 22 minutes per game. He has the potential to go absolutely berserk if Paul Millsap is traded.
