Blake Griffin was plagued by foul trouble on Sunday and scored just seven points in 26 minutes, but L.A. hung on to beat Utah for their 17th consecutive victory.
Griffin's quiet night probably sunk a few fantasy teams, but the Clippers shrugged it off behind Caron Butler's 29 points, Jamal Crawford's 19 points, and 50 percent shooting as a team. The Clips finished December with a perfect record, but January could be tricky -- they start on Tuesday with back-to-back road games vs. the Nuggets and Warriors, then host the Lakers and Warriors over the weekend.
