Isaiah Thomas leads SAC w/ season-high 27 pts
Isaiah Thomas - G - Sacramento Kings
Dec. 31, 2012 - 12:00 AM ET

With Isaiah Thomas left alone at PG on Sunday, the Kings racked up 118 points and beat the Celtics behind Thomas' season-high 27 points, four rebounds, five assists and one steal.

Thomas hit 10-of-15 field goals, including three 3-pointers. The offense was humming and he played solid defense against Rajon Rondo throughout his season-high 40 minutes (until tonight, he hadn't even played 30 minutes in a game). We must note that Aaron Brooks was out with an ankle injury, but it's getting very hard for Keith Smart not to relent and give the reins of the offense to Thomas. We hope so, anyway, and Thomas is a must-own player in light of his newfound starting job, tonight's excellent game, and the upside we've been talking about all year.
