Report: Phils working on trading Blanton

According to Jerry Crasnick of ESPN.com, the Phillies are attempting to trade Joe Blanton in order to free up some salary.
Blanton is owed $17 million over the next two seasons, so he's a logical piece to move now that the club has secured Cliff Lee. The Phillies will likely have to be willing to absorb a sizable portion of his contract in order to move him.
