Eric Gordon (knee) finally made his season debut on Saturday, scoring 24 points on 5-of-13 FGs and 12-of-14 FTs, with seven assists and two steals in a win over the Bobcats.
Gordon racked up those numbers in just 25 minutes, which was his rough minute-limit, as he repeatedly attacked the basket and either drew a foul or gave his teammates a gift-wrapped bucket. He shook off one awkward landing on his left leg, which made more than a few Hornets' fans bite their lip, and this was as good a debut as we could have expected. Of course, this comes with the standard 'if he stays healthy' disclaimer.
