Wesley Matthews will travel with Blazers

Wesley Matthews (hip) will travel with the team to L.A. but isn't sure if he'll be able to play Friday.
Matthews didn't practice Thursday, so we wouldn't read too much into him traveling with the team. Matthews still needs to practice fully and sleep on the injury before being cleared to play. In all likelihood, Matthews is looking at a return on New Year's Day at the earliest. Owners will have to remain patient.
