John Wall's (knee) initial timetable to return was eight weeks, but Randy Wittman "indicated he was under the impression the timetable was more like 8-12 weeks."
It's been 10 weeks since the Wizards announced Wall would miss time with the injury. Given that he's doing "minimal" work on the court and "not participating in high-impact, full-court drills or scrimmages," it sounds like he's at least a couple of weeks away, and that may be a generous estimation. "We're not hiding anything here," Wittman said. It looks like the earliest Washington's franchise star will return is late December, but he's still got a long road ahead before he debuts this season.
