Carmelo Anthony (finger) will not play against the Miami Heat on Thursday night due to a laceration of his left middle finger.
He looked good in warmups at getting up shots, but there were some concerns about him catching the ball and that may have swayed the Knicks in their decision. Jason Kidd returns to the starting lineup and guys like J.R. Smith, Steve Novak and Ronnie Brewer should have more offensive responsibility on the wing.
