Thomas and Fredette battling for backup PG

Keith Smart hasn't made a decision between Isaiah Thomas and Jimmer Fredette for the backup point guard role.
"I talked with those two guys (Saturday) and told them, 'It's difficult for me trying to figure out which one of you is going to back up,' " Smart said. Thomas has been completely mismanaged by Keith Smart, after he was arguably the team's best player for the last third of the prior year.
